This trilogy takes the form of experimental documentary recounting the story of a survivor on one of the lesser-known wars in South Africa, namely the 'taxi wars' where there is an ongoing battle for ownership of transport routes. Years after the shooting, Shelley tells the story through visual poetry.

World renowned for their beautiful basketry, the Wounaan are in the midst of a struggle for recognition of their identity as indigenous people. The uncharted Darien Gap of Panama, where the Panamerican Highway disappears, is where the Wounaan weave, pray, laugh, love and live. Their baskets are sold for up to $40,000 apiece in the US Indigenous Arts Markets by "savvy basket traders" and galleries; meanwhile, the Wounaan have little to no access to the resources they need to protect themselves, their lives, or their culture.

We will send you a set up kit-- have your own tee shirt production line in a few short weeks.
Items included: screen burned and ready with your design, ink, high quality squeegee, your first 4 sample shirts to display, plus easy to follow how-to DVD and tips sheet. Send your .jpg file of at least 300dpi and/or contact us for more information.
$75 covers the cost of the supplies we will be sending you, so, what does pP get out of this? ...You agree to let us make and sell 20 copies of your design, if we so choose, on our site as a fundraiser for proj-ectPRO:JECT. How it works: we will silkscreen the first batch of *your* shirts- 24 in total- 20 we will keep and will sell here, the other 4 will go to you to show off and begin your production. You retain your rights to your design and receive all the materials to produce your own from here on out, meanwhile, we sell a few to cover our time and raise some funds to keep doing our work.
